Beni Ben Zaken is a central midfielder who plays for Hapoel Ironi. He was born on 18 October 1982 in Israel.
In his teenage years Beni played for the juniors of Hapoel Ironi. In 2004 he was promoted to the senior squad, signing a professional deal at the age of 22. During the first three seasons Zaken played for the reserve team.
In 2007 Beni debuted for the first team, but he still didn’t receive enough playing time, taking part in 9 matches. During the 2008/2009 season Zaken registered 10 appearances in the league. The next season he established himself as a first-team regular, making 28 outings and scoring 1 goal in the Liga Leumit.
After the successful season the club was promoted to the Israeli Premier League, where Beni made 20 appearances in the 2010/2011 season. However, he lost his place in the starting eleven and participated only in 12 games from 2011 to 2012.
