Benjamin Moukandjo is a Cameroonian striker who currently plays for AS Nancy. He was born on 12 November 1988 in Douala, Cameroon.
In his teenage years Benjamin played at Kadji SA. He later moved to the French side Rennes, where he played for the reserve team from 2006 to 2008. In 2007 Moukandjo penned his first professional deal with the side. It was difficult for the young footballer to get a regular place in the first team, so he was often in the reserve squad. In 2008 Benjamin was loaned out to L’Entente, where he took part in 13 games and scored 2 goals during his 2008/09 season at the club.
On 31 August 2009 Moukandjo switched to Nîmes, signing a two-year deal with the club. During his 2009–2011 spell at Nîmes Benjamin featured in 46 games and netted 7 goals.
In January 2011 the Cameroonian striker completed a move to AS Monaco. He played for Monaco until summer, making 16 appearances and scoring 3 goals.
In the summer of 2011 Moukandjo transferred to AS Nancy, where he featured in more than 20 matches during his first season at the club.
In 2011 Benjamin Moukandjo made his international debut for the Cameroon national football team.
