Benoît Angbwa, known as Benny, was born on 1 January 1982 in Garoua, Cameroon. He is a player of the Cameroon national football team. Benoît is a silver medalist of 2008 Africa Cup of Nations.
In August 2009, Angbwa scored his first goal in a match of the Russian Premier League. It happened in the away match of the club Saturn against FC Moscow (it was a 1-3 loss for Saturn). That goal became the first for the defender in the national championships for the last five years.
After moving to Saturn in 2008, Angbwa told reporters that the offer of the current club was the one you could not refuse. In fact, Saturn were aiming at the first three places at the end of the tournament, and, with some luck, at winning the championship.
In February 2011 Benoît Angbwa signed for for Anzhi Makhachkala. After short spells with Rostov and Krylia Sovetov he returned to the Dagestani outfit.
