Björn Vleminckx is a Belgian striker born on 1 December 1985.
Vleminckx started his professional career with KSK Beveren. His Jupiler League debut came on 5 April 2003. The 2004/05 season was marked by Björn’s debut in the UEFA Cup. During the two following seasons the player had spells at Oostende and KV Mechelen. With the latest Vleminckx returned to the Belgian 1st Division. In the next 2 seasons Björn earned 68 appearances and found the net 28 times. In June 2009 N.E.C. welcomed the footballer into the fold. Vleminckx was the best goalscorer of the Eredivisie in the 2010/11 season.
In 2011 the player joined FC Brugge and played there for two years. After a short loan spell with Genclerbirligi Ankara, Vleminckx signed a permanent deal with another Turkish side Kayseri Erciyesspor in the summer 2013.
The striker made his senior international debut for Belgium on 11 August 2010 in a friendly encounter with Finland.
