Bojan Jokić is a left back of the Italian club Chievo. He was born on May 17, 1986 in Kranj, Slovenia.
Bojan’s youth career started in the late 90s, after he joined Kranj football academy, where he played for the youth team. In 2002 Jokić moved to the youth team of Triglav Kranj, located in Bojan’s hometown.
In 2003, Bojan signed a professional contract with Triglav Kranj. For two years Jokić was a key left back at the club. From 2003 to 2005, Bojan played 57 matches for Triglav Kranj.
In 2005, Bojan Jokić signed for Gorica, where he was a mainstay, appearing in almost every match of the club. For two seasons, from 2005 to 2007, Bojan appeared in 65 matches and scored 1 goal.
In 2007, Jokić moved to Sochaux, which became a turning point of Bojan’s professional career. For two and a half years Jokić often appeared in the starting lineup, totaling 43 appearances. In January 2010 Jokić joined Chievo on loan for six months and after 9 impressive matches the club management decided to purchase Jokić from Sochaux. In the summer of 2010, the Slovenian defender signed for the Flying Donkeys and is presently a regular in the starting lineup with 46 appearances so far (September 2012).
Since 2006, Bojan was capped 52 times and scored 1 goal for Slovenia national team.
