Bojan Šaranov was born on 22 September 1987 in Vršac, Serbia.
Bojan Šaranov is a product of OFK Beograd’s youth system. Having finished his football formation, Bojan was offered a move to the main team. In 2004 the footballer signed his first professional agreement with OFK Beograd.
From 2004 to 2011 Bojan Šaranov made 72 appearances for his club. From 2005 to 2007 the goalkeeper was on loan to Mačva Šabac. For the following campaign he was farmed out to FK Bežanija.
In June 2011 Bojan Šaranov sealed a deal with Maccabi Haifa which plays in the Israeli Premier League. Since 2011 the footballer has featured in more than 30 games for the Greens.
From 2007 to 2009 Šaranov was capped 7 times for the Serbia national U-21 football team. Since 2011 he has been playing for the Serbia national team.
