In January 2006, Bradley penned a loan deal with Stevenage, where he made four appearances. After returning to his parent Northampton, Johnson became one of the pivots of the centre midfield and fired eight goals in 53 games during two seasons.
In the summer 2008, Bradley became a player of Leeds United, where he spent two lucrative seasons. However, his performance for the club began in 2009 as the management decided to send him on loan to Brighton & Hove Albion, where the footballer made ten appearances and found the net five times. He played for Leeds from 2009 till 2011, took part in 122 matches and chipped in 16 goals. In the summer 2011, Johnson joined Premier League side Norwich City.
