An Algerian footballer Brahim Ferradj is a defender of Brest.
Brahim gave his career a start when he was a six year old boy, who played for Saint-Etienne. That was not his last club at the junior level. The next season would find him at AJ Auxerre in 2000. He learned the game in its minutest details during seven years, before being promoted to the senior level at the age of 20.
A promising footballer got his first pro contract in 2007. Brest took him for a term of four years. However, in 2009 he was taken out of action for more than half a year with a serious injury.
He didn’t appear on the field until the beginning of the 2010/2011 season, when he finally made his recurrence. But he continued to strike a bad patch, as on the 6th day he had to make another break through a new trauma. This time he was out of game for a month. The trace was left by the period without trainings. Brahim’s shape left much to be desired, so he lost his place in the first team.
His first league goal was scored on 6 March 2011 in a match against Bordeaux.
In the summer 2011, when the spell was coming to an end, the management of the club made a decision to extend the contract for the following 4 years. On 29 July 2011, it was a week before the beginning of the 2011/2012 season; the Algerian footballer sustained one more injury. He spent 6 months on the team’s injured reserve.
His comeback didn’t happen until the end of January, when he took part in the match with PSG. He managed to show brilliant play during the game, but even before its end the defender had a sharp pain in his knee. For Ferradj the season was ended ahead of the game.
His first cap for the national team came in 2011. The Algerian team was playing against Morocco, which gave the opponent a walloping (4-0). That’s why Brahim didn’t get a chance to appear on the field.
