Brett Holman is a midfielder of Al Nasr. He was born on 27 March 1984 in Sydney, Australia.
Brett’s professional career took off in Australian side Parramatta Power of the National Soccer League. Holman spent two years in his first club and moved to Dutch side Feyenoord in 2002. The same year he was sent on loan to Excelsior, which was relegated to Eerste Divisie after the 2002/2003 season. However, the footballer continued to perform for the club and spent another three years there. In the 2005/2006 season, the club got the promotion back. In 2006 Brett moved to Eredivisie side N.E.C. and spent two years there. In 2008 Holman penned a contract with AZ. In 2009 the footballer helped his team to lift the Dutch Super Cup and to become the Eredivisie champions.
In 2012 Brett officially joined English side Aston Villa. However, only a year later he left the club to move to UAE side Al Nasr.
Holman was capped for the Australia national U-17 and U-23 teams and participated in the 2001 U-17 World Championship. In 2006 the footballer was called up to the senior national squad. Brett contributed two goals in three games at the 2010 World Cup.
