Brian van Loo is a retired Dutch goalkeeper born on 2 April 1975 in Almelo, Netherlands.
Brian’s career took off in local PH, from where the footballer moved to Stevo. In 1999, van Loo returned to his native city and joined Heracles. The keeper’s professional début came on 22 August 2003 in the home 2-4 loss to AGOVV Apeldoorn. Brian made 64 appearances for the club during three seasons.
In the 2006/2007 season, the player transferred to Groningen and became a second-choice goalkeeper. His first appearance for the new team came on 18 March 2007 in the home game versus Twente, but van Loo had to leave the field due to an unfortunate collision with a defender. After the footballer fully recovered from the injury, he showed impressing performance in a series of matches and became a first-choice keeper the following season. Brian took part in 63 fixtures for Groningen during six seasons.
In June 2012, the player sealed a one-year deal with his former club Heracles Almelo. At the end of the spell he retired from professional football.
