A Portuguese footballer Bruno Alexandre Maeques Pereirinha plays for Lazio as a right midfielder. He was born on 2 March 1988 in Rio de Mouro.
In 1995, his junior career started at the academy of Belenenses, where he was groomed during nine years. Over that period of time Bruno performed for almost all the youth teams of the club. In 2004, the young footballer joined Sporting CP, after passing all the preliminary tests successfully. He stayed at the club’s youth department for another two years before moving to a higher level.
In 2006, Pereirinha signed his first professional contract. Hardly had he joined the main team, when he was sent to serve loan to Olivais Moscavide in order to gain more playing experience at the senior level. Nevertheless, he made only nine appearances for the temporary team. In 2007, he was welcomed back to his parent club, where he continued training hard and started making occasional appearances for the first team.
Bruno featured in 79 matches and scored two goals for the Portuguese squad before being sent to serve loans at Vitória Guimarães. He spent the 2010/2011 season with the temporary team, making 10 appearances and amassing one goal. His next season would find him performing for another temporary club - Kavala that was taking part in the Superleague Greece. In total, Bruno appeared more than 25 times for the Greek squad. Since 2013 the Portuguese has played for S.S. Lazio.
Since 2005 until 2010, the footballer got 33 calls for the Portugal youth national team at U-19, U-20 and U-21 levels.
