A Brazilian footballer Bruno Rodrigo Fenelon Palomo performs as a defender for Cruzeiro. Rodrigo was born on 12 April 1985 in São Paulo.
Bruno’s junior career passed at his native town, where he, at first, played for the Jalesense’s youth team and, later on, opted to move to more famous club Portuguesa. In 2004, after being tested sufficiently, the young defender was offered a place in the club’s youth department. He took agreed on the proposal and the last year of his junior career was spent there.
In 2006, Rodrigo signed for the club’s senior side and became its official member. The time with Portuguesa was very fortunate as the footballer gained his first performing experience and his first honors. In 2007, his club was crowned the champions of the São Paulo State Championship Serie A2 and the footballer got a chance to reveal his potential playing in Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. Unfortunately, Portuguesa dropped right back in Série B after one season. Nevertheless, that’s turned to be enough for more powerful and famous clubs to notice Bruno. Very soon he got many offers but opted to join Santos FC.
In 2010, a deal was finalized and the defender established himself as the squad’s regular. The move was a success. Bruno won the São Paulo State League under the flag of Santos three times (in 2010, 2011 and 2012). He also was the holder of the 2010 Copa do Brasil and the 2011 Copa Libertadores. In 2011, after some players came back from their loans, Rodrigo started to make more rare appearances. Despite this fact he had some successful runs with the main team winning the 2012 Recopa Sudamericana.
In 2013 Rodrigo switched to Cruzeiro.
