Bruno Uvini is a Brazilian footballer under contract with Napoli. He was born on 3 June 1991 in Capivari, Brazil.
Bruno started out playing football at PAEC in 2005 before joining São Paulo FC youth system. In 2010, he was promoted to the first team of his feeder club. However, he wasn’t given enough playing time amassing only 9 appearances in between 2010 and 2012.
In February 2012, Uvini moved on loan to Tottenham Hotspur which intended to sign a player on a permanent basis later on. But a young centre back din’t manage to bring out his full potential and was transferred to Italian side Napoli in August 2012.
A loan spell with strugglling Siena followed.
Bruno Uvini met much success at the international arena. Part of the Brazil U20 team, he bore the captain’s armband during the 2011 South American Youth Championships and captained the team in the U20 World Cup when Brazil won its trophy. Since 2012, Uvini is capped for the Brazil national team.
