Miguel Ângelo Marques Granja, also known as Bura, is a defender of Beira-Mar. He was born on 17 December 1988 in Matosinhos, Portugal.
In 2007 Bura began playing professionally with Porto where he had been trained at the youth academy before he joined the main squad. In the same year the footballer was loaned to Ribeirão where he kicked 3 goals in 29 matches. In 2008, Granja moved on loan to Portimonense however he spent very little time with this team. The footballer continued his career in Covilhã where he also was a loan player. During his one-season spell with the temporary team Bura netted once in 20 matches for this Portuguese outfit.
In the summer 2009 Bura penned a loan contract with Gil Vicente where he took part in 6 games for half a season. At the beginning of 2010 he was sent on loan to Penafiel where he spent the rest of the 2009/10 season. During this period the defender made 11 appearances in the starting line-up. In the 2010/11 season Granja played for the Portuguese club Paços de Ferreira which plays in the Portugal Primeira Liga. For a season the footballer featured in 14 games for his temporary club.
After changing many temporary teams, in the summer 2011 Bura received a proposal to join Beira-Mar on a regular basis. The footballer was satisfied with the terms of the contract and in the summer 2011 he signed for Beira-Mar where he plays successfully until now.
From 2005 to 2011 Bura scored 4 goals in 27 matches for the Portugal U-18, U-19, U-21 and U-23 football teams.
