A Scottish goalkeeper Cameron Bell was born on 18 September 1986 in Dumfries.
Being born in Dumfries, Cameron first choice was obviously the youth department of Queen of the South. Later on he moved to the academy of Annan Athletic. In 2002, Bell joined the youth team of Kilmarnock. The following year, the goalkeeper was offered to join the club’s senior team. But his official debut for the squad didn’t happen until 2009, when he came on field in a match against Motherwell. Before this had happened Cammy was twice sent on loan. In 2007, he was loaned out by Montrose and the next year passed with Queen of the South. In January 2010, Combe, the goalkeeper of Cammy’s parent club, was seriously injured, so Bell replaced him, becoming the head coach’s first choice. Five years later Bell was offered a deal with Scottish giants Rangers who were making their way back to the top flight.
In 2010, the goalkeeper earned his first cap for the Scotland national squad.
