A Chinese footballer Cao Tianbao performs for Changchun Yatai as a striker. The player was born on 3 April 1982 in Shenyang, Liaoning.
In 2001, Cao joined Changchun Yatai and his professional career began. In 2005, the club earned the promotion to the Chinese Super League and the young footballer lost his place in the starting eleven. He was still considered to be inexperienced and was increasingly used as a substitute player. Nevertheless, Tianbao didn’t give up and every time he got the possibility to come on field he did his best to produce an impressive performance. In 2007, the striker helped the squad to earn the title in the Chinese Super League. Such a victory helped Cao to become the head coach’s first choice.
In 2010, after the club’s management had been changed, Tianbao found himself on the dugout. In 2011, the footballer agreed on a deal with Shenzhen Phoenix. In total, he racked up four goals in 25 matches for the temporary squad. After the spell had come to an end, the footballer rejoined his parent club.
On international level, Cao made single appearance for the China full side in 2009.
