Carlos Javier Cuéllar Jiménez is a back, born on 23 August 1981 in Madrid, Spain.

Carlos’s career took off in local semi-pro clubs C.D. Pegaso and San Federico. In 2000 the footballer penned a contract with Spanish side Calahorra, where he performed during two seasons before completing a move to Numancia. In 2003 the back finalized a move to Osasuna. In 2007 he sealed a deal with Scottish side Rangers and made four goals in 36 games for ‘The Teddy Bears’.

From 2008 till 2012, Carlos played for English side Aston Villa. From 2012 to 2014, he performed for Sunderland.
