A Brazilian footballer Carlos Henrique Casimiro, also known as Casemiro, is a midfielder of Real Madrid. He was born on 23 February 1992.
In 2002, Carlos was selected for the youth team of São Paulo and his junior career began. He was captain of the squad, when he turned 11. He’s considered to be a type of the footballer that could act as an attacking tough-tackling midfielder.
In 2010, Casemiro switched to the club’s senior team. His debut at the senior level took place in June 2010 in a defeating match against Santos. His debut goal was netted the same year in a game with Cruzeiro. Carlos featured in 64 club’s fixtures scoring 6 goals. In 2013 he was invited for a spell with Real Madrid Castilla. Soon after that the Spanish giants bought out his contract. In 2014/2015 season Casemiro was loaned to Porto.
His international career started in 2009, when the young player was invited to perform for the Brazil U-17 squad. Before this had happened, the footballer already had some honors playing for the junior teams. In 2008, he won the Club U-17 World Cup Championship and in 2010 he became the champion of the Copa São Paulo de Juniores. Whilst performing for the Brazil U-20 team Casemiro won the 2011 South American Youth Championship. In 2011, the midfielder got his first cap for the Brazil full side.
