César Ibáñez is a Mexican midfielder. He was born on 1 April 1992 in Guadalajara, Mexico. He emerged through the junior system of Atlas.
In November 2008 the 16-year-old footballer made his top flight debut for Atlas in a game against Monarcas Morelia. In April 2011 Ibáñez was offered to join Real Valladolid but he decided to stay in Mexico.
In the same year Ibáñez was sent on loan to Santos Laguna which won the national championship the following season.
In 2009 the midfielder was capped for the Mexico national U-17 football team. Ibáñez made his international debut in a game against Brazil during the group stage of the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
