Cesare Bovo is a defender of Torino. He was born on 14 January 1983 in Rome, Italy.
In 2002 the defender signed a contract with Lecce where he had been playing for two seasons taking part in 30 fixtures and scoring twice. In 2004 Bovo moved to his parent club Roma. This very season he was loaned to Parma and managed to become a part of starting eleven there, taking part in 31 matches and founding the net twice. Then the Italian returned to Roma and took part in 22 fixtures in 2005/06 season.
In 2006 the player put a pen to paper of a contract with Palermo but played for the club only for half a year taking part in one fixture. Later, in January 2007 Cesare was loaned to Genoa and fired in one goal in seven matches during half a year.
In the summer 2007 Bovo became the Genoa player and managed to play in 27 fixtures during his debut season for Il Grifone. In the summer 2008 the player returned to Palermo and finally managed to become an undisputed starter of the club for three years taking part in 90 matches and firing in seven goals.
In 2011 Bovo was loaned to Genoa but only made five appearances during half a year for the team. In January 2012 Il Grifone decided to sign the player on a regular basis. Since 2013 the player has featured for Torino.
Since 2000 to 2006 Cesare Bovo had been a part of Italy U-16, U-17, U-19, U-20 and U-21 national teams. He had made 56 appearances and amassed eight goals.
