Chan Cheuk Kwong is a Hong Kong semi-professional football player. He was born on December 5, 1984 in Hong Kong. Currently he plays as center-back for Hong Kong First Division League side Southern (he can also perform the duties of defensive midfielder when required).
Kwong is master of the long throw-ins, that is why he is sometimes compared to Stoke City Rory Delap.
Kwong has started his football career in 2005. Before joining Southern he has spent three seasons in the third-tier playing for Sham Shui Po. He failed to prove himself on a regular basis making just 9 appearances for the club and was released on a free transfer short after the 2007–08 season.
However after joining Southern he hit the ground running and helped his team to qualify to the Hong Kong First Division League. Kwong is a fireman and sometimes has to miss the regular training sessions. That is why his coach often uses him as a super-sub.
