Chang Lin is a midfielder of Shijiazhuang Yongchang Junhao in the Chinese Super League. He was born on 17 April 1981 in Dalian, China.
In 2000 Lin joined the academy of Dalian Shide and left it one year later as a professional football player by signing a contract with Dalian Saidelong. Despite of a long-term contract, Chang Lin spent only one year and a half with Dalian Saidelong but during that period the player greatly developed his midfielder skills.
In 2003 the Chinese joined Shanghai United and spent three outstanding seasons there. He immediately managed to become an undisputed starter of the club, one of its anchor players and went on developing his football skills. He managed to make 90 appearances for the club and netted ten goals before he left it in 2007.
In 2007 Chang Lin moved to Shanghai Shenhua but didn’t stay there for a long time and joined Hangzhou Greentown in 2008. He spent one and a half years there managing to become one of the most valuable players. All in all he took part in 38 fixtures of Hangzhou. Since 2010 to 2013 Chang Lin was a Dalian Aerbin player. He was one of the club’s anchor players.
Since 2013 Chang Lin has featured for Shijiazhuang Yongchang Junhao.
