Chao Pengfei is a professional striker currently playing for Tuen Mun in the Hong Kong First Division League. He was born on 11 July 1987 in Dalian, China.
Chao began his youth career at his hometown club Dalian Shide. He signed his first professional contract with Citizen AA in 2005 where he got off to a fine start of his senior career scoring 10 goals in 37 matches during a to-year stint at the club. Since 2007 till 2009, Pengfei netted 14 goals in 46 appearances for Happy Valley and in the 2009/10 season he had a short spell at South China amassing 4 goals in just 9 league games and helping the side to win the Hong Kong First Division League in the season. In 2012, Chao Pengfei played for Kitchee on loan from Biu Chun Rangers and was instrumental player there as his side won the First Division League and Hong Kong FA Cup in the 2011/12 season. He joined Tuen Mun ahead of the 2012/13 season and plays for the club till today.
Since 2008, Chao Pengfei is capped to the Hong Kong national team. He helped his side to win the East Asian Games in 2009.
