Charles Kaboré is a midfielder at Kuban Krasnodar. He was born on 9 February 1988 in Burkina Faso.
His youth career began at a local club SONABEL in 2003 when he first began trying his luck at football. In 2004 Charles transferred to Ouagadougou football academy, where he was training up to 2006.
In 2006 the young footballer got to a tryout to Libourne and later he joined the club. Charles signed a professional two-year contract with the club, the first in his life. The head coach only occasionally gave Charles the opportunity to feature in the first team. Kaboré spent most of the time in reserve or came on in a substitution. Charles was featuring for his first club during two years playing 26 matches.
In 2008 Marseille that played in Ligue 1 got interested in the footballer. They wanted to watch him play first before spending millions of euros. In January 2008 Charles was loaned to Marseille for which he featured in about 12 matches. Kaboré’s play impressed the club’s managers; they decided to acquire the midfielder from Libourne. In the summer of 2008 Charles officially became a first-team player at Marseille. He appeared in 124 matches for the club scoring 2 goals.
In 2013 Charles joined a Russian side Kuban Krasnodar.
Charles has been also playing for the Burkina Faso national team since 2006.
