A Dutch footballer Charlison Benschop is a striker of Brest. He was born on 21 August 1989 in Willemstad, Netherlands Antilles.
He played as an amateur for SCO and Spijkenisse. He shone out ever since he was a young professional player. At that time he was noticed by the scouts of Waalwijk. His debut as a senior player happened on 11 January 2008 in a match with Go Ahead Eagles. This very game was also lined with Charlison’s first scored goal. His squad won by 7 points to two.
His professional life in the club turned to be very eventful. He scored 6 goals in 30 matches, was booked 6 times and he was even once sent off the field.

Before moving to the next club, the Dane featured in 44 games and scored 6 goals during the two seasons with AZ. Despite the fact that the previous contract was still in effect, a new deal was finalized in the summer 2012. The striker became a trainee of the French club Brest.
