A Chinese footballer Chen Jianlong performs for Shanghai Shenxin as a defender. The player was born on 14 May 1989 in Maoming, Guangdong.
In 2005, after passing all the tests, Chen Jianlong entered the youth academy of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical. The defender proved to be a very talented young player and the club’s management counted on him as on a first-choice footballer in future. Chen’s junior career passed performing for the U-17 and U-19 teams. He had spent four years at the academy before he finished his formation. In 2007, Jianlong made his senior debut for Guangdong Sunray Cave, where he stayed until 2009.
In 2010, the footballer was bought out by Guangzhou Evergrande. There he was increasingly used as a substitute player. The first season was lined with five appearances made. In 2012, Chen was loaned out by Shanghai Shenxin from the Chinese Super League.
