Gunter made 28 appearances during his two-year spell at ‘The Bluebirds’.

Gunter officially became a player of Nottingham Forest and started to perform for the club from the 2009/2010 season. The back made 133 appearances and netted two goals during three years in ‘The Tricky Trees’.
On 17 July 2012, the footballer transferred to Reading.
