Christian Bolaños Navarro is a footballer from Costa Rica, currently playing for the Danish club F.C. Copenhagen. He was born in 1984 in Hatillo de San José and before he began his professional playing career at Deportivo Saprissa in 2001, he had graduated from its academy. Along with the club he won Copa Interclubes UNCAF in 2003, three times they were Primera División de Costa Rica winners, in 2005 the team finished third at the FIFA Club World Cup and won the 2005 CONCACAF Champions League.
At the beginning of the summer in 2007 Christian Bolaños moved to Denmrk where he signed a three-year deal with OB and in November 2008 he switched the Norwegian team Start. In his official debut match against Strømsgodset Bolaños netted two goals.
At the end of August in 2010 the Costa Rican footballer completed a move to FC Copenhagen for a fee of €1 million. Along with the team he won the 2010/11 Danish Superliga title and the 2011/12 Danish Cup.
Bolaños represents the Costa Rica national team since 2005.
