The Ecuadorian midfielder and the national team player, Christian Fernando Noboa Tello was born on April 9, 1985 in Guayaquil.
His footballing journey Christian started in the youth set-up at Emelec, and played there for two seasons. Being a part of Ecuadorian national squad Naboa helped his team to finish runners up in the Ecuadorian national championship. As a member of Ecuadorian national team Fernando plays from 2008.
In 2007 Naboa caught the attention of Rubin Kazan scouts who were in pursuit of richly promising players, and penned a five-year contract. So he became the first player from Ecuador in Russian football. In his debut meeting with Rostov Noboa scored an own goal. In the Premier League he fired his first goal at Spartak Moscow. In 2008, Kurban Berdyev included Christian in his tactical scheme. Despite the rumors about Naboa’s moving to one of the European clubs, the player continued to play for Rubin. That year, Fernando showed his best, scoring a lot and working in defense. Soon he turned to the top class player.
As a part of Kazan Christian twice (in 2008 and 2009) was the champion of Russia, and in 2010 became the bronze medalist of the country. In 2012 Noboa signed a contract with Dynamo Moscow.
