Christian Pander plays as a left back for Hannover 96. He was born on 28 August 1983 in Münster, Germany.
Christian came up through the youth ranks of such German clubs as SC Nienberge, FC Gievenbeck, SC Greven 09 and SC Preußen Münster. But it is to FC Schalke 04’s immense credit that Pander established himself as a professional footballer and became the DFB-Pokal winner with the club in 2011.
In 2011, a promising young defender moved to Hannover 96, amassing 2 goals in 21 games for the club.
Christian Pander was called up to the Germany national team in a match against England on 22 August 2007. His maiden goal wasn’t long in coming. It was a fierce shot from roughly 23 meters, with which Pander marked his international debut.
