Christian Ricardo Stuani Curbelo is a Uruguayan footballer, born in 1986 in Tala, Uruguay. Currently he plays for Espanyol as a striker. The first club he played for was Danubio FC and then he was loaned to C.A. Bella Vista before he returned back.
In winter 2008, Stuani moved to Italy to join Reggina Calcio signing a four-year contract. He made his Serie A debut in a 1-1 draw with Empoli FC, playing 30 minutes of the match. In the 2007/08 season Christian helped the team to retain its top division status though the previous season the club was placed on the second position from the bottom. The club suffered relegation after the 2008/09 campaign and the footballer was sent on loan to Segunda División side Albacete Balompié for the 2009/10 season. The following season he was loaned to Levante UD, playing in La Liga. He was used as a substitute to Felipe Caicedo and nevertheless scored eight goals helping the team to remain in the first division.
In the 2011/12 he played for Racing de Santander on loan and after that he completed a long-term move to RCD Espanyol de Barcelona signing a four-year contract.
