Over a period of three seasons Christophe played in Niort’s colours but then moved to FC Lorient. At first he was only the third contender for his playing position. Eventually the footballer got that place and became a permanent player of the major squad.
In the summer of 2009 Jallet joined French FC Paris Saint-Germain signing a 4-year contract. For the first time he played for the Parisian club on 1 May 2010. As a Paris Saint-Germain player the defender became the Coupe de France holder. His team managed to beat AS Monaco FC and Christophe was the one who assisted the game-winning goal.
In the summer 2014 he switched for Lyon.
In early August in 2010 the footballer was called up to the France national football team to appear in the friendly match against Norway. However Christophe Jallet stayed on the bench during the encounter.
