A Brazilian footballer Cícero João de Cézare, aka Cicinho, performs as a right back for Sport Recife. He was born on 24 June 1980.
Cicinho started trying his hand at professional football in 1999, when a year contract with Botafogo was signed. The footballer made only 2 appearances during the spell.
In 2001, a deal was finalized with Atlético Mineiro. Nevertheless, the footballer stayed on loan at Botafogo. After he had joined his parent club, Cícero managed to clinch into the first XI, appearing 59 times during the 2002/2003 season.
In 2004, the Brazilian footballer took the proposal from São Paulo and penned a contract. He became the team’s pivot, featuring in 70 club’s fixtures and scoring 12 goals. In 2006, Cicinho was noticed by the scouts from Real Madrid. He was invited to trial at club and not long after that his contract was bought out. The debut season for the team was lined with 26 appearances made and 3 goals netted.
In 2007, the player moved to Italian club – Roma. Cicinho was used both as a sub and as the squad’s starter. He made frequent appearances for the main team. During the spell he was twice sent on loan. In 2010, the footballer served loan at São Paulo and in 2011 he became a temporary member of Villarreal.
In 2012, the right back was scouted by Sport. He continues to make successful appearances for the Brazilian club.
Cicinho made 15 appearances and scored 1 goal for the Brazil national squad from 2005 to 2006 season.
