Ciro Immobile is a football player from Italy, born in 1990. He came through the youth ranks of Sorrento and Juventus. Being a part of the Juventus U20 team he helped his side to win the 2009 Torneo di Viareggio. His league debut came on 14 March 2009 in a 4-1 victory over Bologna F.C. and his European debut was on 25 November 2009 in the Champions League match against Bordeaux.
In the summer of 2010 Immobile was sent to A.C. Siena and in January 2011 he moved to Grosseto and played for them till the end of the season. In July 2011 Ciro Immobile was loaned to Pescara, where he made 37 appearances and scored 28 goals, thus becoming the Serie B top scorer. In January 2012 it was announced that half of the player’s rights were bought by Genoa for a fee of €4 million. Immobile netted his first Serie A goal for Genoa on 26 August 2012, that was a 2-0 win over Cagliari. In the season 2013/2014 Immobiole played for Torino and netted 23 goals in 34 matches.
In the summer 2014 the striker was lured to Borussia Dortmund.
He was called up to represent the Italy U19 team at the 2009 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship qualification. He made his first appearance for the Italy U21 team in the game against Austria U21. In 2014 Ciro received his debut call up to Squadra Azzurra.
