Clint Hill is a defender of QPR. He was born on 19 October 1978 in Liverpool, England.
In 1997 Clint penned a senior contract with Tranmere Rovers after being a trainee of the club during three years. The move to the main team gave the footballer an opportunity to struggle for a spot near the best and the most experienced players. Hill’s talent and potential helped the defender to clinch a regular place in the first squad in short term, and he did not think of leaving it till 2002. Clint made 140 appearances and netted 16 goals for Tranmere Rovers during his spell.
In 2002 Hill completed a move to Oldham Athletic, where he featured in 18 games and found the net one time during one season. In 2003 the footballer sealed a deal on permanent basis with Stoke City. The footballer was granted a place on the substitutes’ bench, but he often took part in the matches of the club during all seasons.
In 2007 Clint was sent on loan to Crystal palace, where he made 13 appearances and fired three goals during one year. At the beginning of the 2008/2009 season, the temporary team decided to secure Hill’s services on continuing basis and offered him a move. The footballer became the pivot of the defense line and went on to net twice in 103 matches during his spell.
In 2010 Clint ended his Crystal Palace spell with QPR move. The defender took part in 66 games and chipped in two goals till January 2012, when he went on a six-month loan to Nottingham Forest.
