Constantinos Makrides is a professional Cypriot footballer currently playing as a midfielder for Metalurh Donetsk FC. He was born on January 13, 1982 in Limassol, Cyprus.
The first club Constantinos Makrides signed up with was called Apollon Limassol, where he played from 2001 till 2004. In 2002 he was loaned to Ethnikos Assia. Even though the young footballer was not a first-choice player, he made up for the lack of practice during training sessions.
From 2004 till 2008 Constantinos Makrides featured for one of the biggest clubs in Cyprus called APOEL and became of the key players in the midfield. In total the footballer made 107 appearances and scored 29 goals for the club over 4 seasons.
In the season of 2008/2009 the Cypriot player performed for Metalurh Donetsk FC quite successfully. In 2009 he left Metalurh for Omonia AC and stayed there for 3 years, till 2012, when he returned to Metalurh Donetsk FC.
In 2004 Constantinos Makrides was capped for the Cyprus National Football Team.
