Curtis Main is a striker, born on 20 June 1992 in South Shields, England.
In 2005, Curtis joined the academy of Darlington and spent two years there. The footballer proved to be very promising and talented, which helped him to get a place in the main squad after his graduation.
In 2007, Main penned his first professional four-year contract and started to make occasional appearances for the club. The striker managed to earn more playing time soon and was often asked to come on the pitch in the starting line-up. Despite Curtis was not the pivot of the team, he took part in 61 fixtures and netted five goals for Darlington during four years.
In May 2011, the footballer completed a move to Middlesbrough on a free transfer.
In 2013 Main was loaned to Shrewsbury Town. In 2014 Main switched for Doncaster Rovers.
