Dale Stephens is a midfielder, born on 12 December 1989 in Bolton, England.
In 2007, Dale made his professional start in Bury and went on loan to Droylsden, where he took part in six fixtures during six months.
The footballer made nine appearances for his parent club and sealed a deal with Oldham Athletic. After one season with the new team, Stephens was sent on loan to Rochdale, where he netted one goal in six matches during his spell. From 2008 till the beginning of 2011, the midfielder performed for Oldham and amassed 11 goals in 60 games for the club. In March 2011, Dale completed a loan move to Southampton till the end of the season.
In the summer 2011, Charlton Athletic secured the footballer’s services on permanent basis. In 2014 Stephens moved to Brighton and Hove Albion.
