Damien Le Tallec is a French striker who currently plays for Hoverla Uzhhorod. He was born on 19 April 1990 in Poissy, France.
Damien began training at Le Havre when he was five years old. From 2005 to 2009 he played for the youth team of Rennes. Le Tallec helped the squad to win the 2008 Coupe Gambardella, netting 8 goals in 7 games. He was one of the key players that contributed to winning the 2006/2007 French U18 championship. Following the successful league campaign, Le Tallec penned a 3-year contract with the club. He spent the 2007/2008 season in the reserves, later being promoted to the first team. However, Damien played in the Championnat de France amateur, where he scored 4 goals in 22 games during the 2008/2009 season.
In 2009 the striker signed for Borussia Dortmund. Playing for the reserve squad predominantly, he made 43 appearances and scored 13 goals during the 2009-2012 spell at Borussia Dortmund II. He also registered 15 outings and netted a goal for the first team.
In January 2012 Damien completed a move Nantes, where he featured in 8 matches. In the summer of 2012 Le Tallec joined the Ukrainian side Hoverla.
