Dani Giménez is a Spanish goalkeeper playing for AD Alcorcón.
Giménez spent the first 8 seasons as a professional footballer in the Segunda B performing for such teams as Celta de Vigo B and Zamora. Sometime later he faced Rayo Vallecano in the playoffs of the 2007/08 campaign still playing for Zamora and produced a good impression on the management of Rayo who bought him in the following campaign. During the first two seasons the player was second keeper to David Cobeño. In his second season Dani participated in seven games to help his side to win a promotion to La Liga after an eight-year absence.
Having made only 37 appearances for the side during four years Giménez opted to join a Segunda club Alcorcon in the summer 2013.
Giménez made his first league debut against Athletic Bilbao on 28 August 2011. Throughout the whole season he struggled with David Cobeño for the position of the main keeper.
