Dani Schahin is a forward who represents Mainz 05. Dani was born on 9 July 1989 in Donetsk, Ukrainian SSR.
In his teenage years Schahin played for Energie Cottbus, subsequently moving to Hamburger SV in 2006. In 2007 Dani debuted for the reserve team of HSV. He participated in 34 games and scored 12 goals during his 2007-2009 spell at the club.
In 2009 Dani completed a move to SpVgg Greuther Fürth. He performed for the reserve squad at first, later joining the first team. Dani failed to retain his place at Greuther, as he was loaned out to Dynamo Dresden in 2011. Schahin scored 10 goals for Dynamo, helping the team to get promoted to the second division.
In the summer of 2012 Dani Schahin completed a move to Fortuna Düsseldorf but after one season joined Mainz 05.
From 2008 to 2009 the forward scored 3 goals in 9 games for the Germany U20 team.
