Daniel Redmond is a midfielder, born on 2 March 1991 in Liverpool, England.
The start of the footballer’s junior career fell on the academy of Everton, to where he came in early 2000s’. During long years in the youth system, Daniel managed to gain confidence of the coaching staff, which made him one of the most renowned academy members. In 2009 Redmond drew the attention of Wigan Athletic, which was looking for a young talent that could become a key player in the future. The same year all peculiarities of the transfer were agreed and the midfielder got to the youth system of ‘Latics’, where he spent another two years.
In 2011 Daniel officially began his senior career by penning a contract with the club. Daniel knew he would not start to perform for the main team at once, and the management decided to send him on loan to Hamilton Academical, where the footballer netted five goals in 18 matches for the temporary club during the second half of the 2011/2012 season. After a brief spell with Carlisle United, Redmond penned a permanent deal with Hamilton Academical.
