Daniel Royer is a footballer from Austria, who is currently loaned to 1. FC Köln from Hannover 96. He was born in 1990 and came through the youth ranks of Schladming and Sturm Graz. In 2009 he joined Pasching where he stayed until his move to Ried in July 2010. On 17 July 2010 Royer made his Bundesliga debut in 0-3 loss at Sturm Graz. He made 41 appearances during his first season, netted five goals helping his side to win the Austrian Cup title.
In August 2011 Royer joined the German club Hannover 96 but in his first season with the team he made only three appearances and in July 2012 was sent to 1. FC Köln on loan.
Daniel Royer was called up to represent the Austria national U21 team and on 3 June 2011 he made his senior team debut.
