Danijel Pranjić is a Croatian footballer, who is capable of playing as a defensive midfielder, left wingback or left winger. The footballer was born in Našice, the Osijek-Baranja County of Croatia and currently performs for Sporting Clube de Portugal.
Danijel’s professional career began in 2002, when he joined NK Osijek. In 2004 he moved to Dinamo Zagreb, and in 2005 he was transferred to Dutch Heerenveen. In June 2009 the Croatian was purchased by Bayern Munch for 7 million euros and signed a 3-year contract with the club. On 13 July 2012 Danijel accepted the offer of Sporting Clube de Portugal.
Pranjić won the German championship in 2010 with Bayern. He is also the winner of the German Cup 2010 and the German Supercup 2010.
Danijel played his debut match for the national squad in 2004 and has been capped 45 times since then.
