Danilo Larangeira is a center back for Udinese. He was born on 10 May 1984 in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil.
Danilo’s professional career started in 2003 after he joined Paulista first squad. During his debut season Danilo played on loan for Ituano. There he was a regular with a total of 30 matches and 1 goal. After returning to Paulista Larangeira was a made a key defender, played 41 matches and netted 4 goals for the club.
In 2005 Danilo Larangeira signed for Atlético Paranaense. The head coach had high hopes for the Ghanaian defender and made him a regular right from the start of the 2005/06 season. By 2009 Danilo’s personal standing at Atlético Paranaense was 131 appearances and 9 goals.
In January 2009 Danilo was loaned to Brazilian Série A Palmeiras. The club management liked the talented defender’s performance and decided to offer him a permanent basis contract in 2010. During 2 seasons at Palmeiras Larangeira made 67 appearances and scored 5 goals.
In 2011 the Ghanaian center back caught the eye of Udinese and the club decided to sign him. To date, Danilo has made 33 appearances and netted 1 goal for Bianconeri.
