Daniel Fox is a defender, born on 29 May 1986 in Winsford, England.
In 2004 Daniel penned his first professional contract with Everton. The same year Fox went on loan to Gateshead, where he spent a part of the season and made four appearances for the temporary club. At the beginning of 2005, Daniel was sent on loan as well, this time to Stranraer, where he featured in 11 games and found the net one time during six months.
In 2005 Daniel put pen to paper of a permanent contract with Walsall and spent three successful years in the club. Fox was highly appraised by the head coach, because the footballer corresponded to all demands and always kept imperious form, which helped him to show stellar performance. Daniel made 99 appearances and netted six goals for the club during three years.
In 2008 Fox ended his Walsall spell with Coventry City move, where he took part in 57 games and fired six goals during one year and a half. In 2009 the footballer finalized a deal with Scottish side Celtic. Daniel made 15 appearances for the new club during one season till 2010, when he returned to England in order to join Burnley. Fox featured in 50 games during one season and a half, which was really fruitful for him, as that was a very good result for such period of time. In the summer 2011, the footballer transferred to Southampton and made 69 appearances for the side.
In January 2014 Fox went on loan to Nottingham Forest and later penned a permanent deal with the club.
In 2008 Fox was capped one time for the England national U-21 team. In 2009, he was invited to play for the Scotland national squad.
