In 2011, Charlton Athletic secured the footballer’s services and saw him score four times in 33 games during the 2011/2012 season, as the head coach was trying to give Green as many opportunities as he could.
In 2013 Green was loaned to MK Dons and later signed a permanent deal with the club.
