Dany N’Guessan is a midfielder of Swindon Town. He was born on 11 August 1987 in Ivry-sur-Seine, France.
After graduating from the academy of Auxerre, Dany put pen to paper of a senior two-year contract with the club and started to train with the main squad, but failed to make his competitive début during two seasons, which entailed his move to Scottish side Rangers in 2005. However, the footballer was not given an opportunity to come on the pitch for the new team as well, and the management decided to send him on loan to Boston United, where N’Guessan netted five goals in 23 fixtures during the first half of the 2006/2007 season.
The midfielder drew the attention of various English clubs, but Lincoln City was the first to offer him a permanent contract. In the summer 2007, Dany completed a move to the new team and fired 16 goals in 91 matches during two years.
In the summer 2009, the footballer penned a contract with Leicester City, but his appearances on the field for ‘The Foxes’ were pretty occasional. At the beginning of 2010, N’Guessan went on loan to Scunthorpe United and found the net one time in three games for the club during his spell. In 2011, the midfielder performed for Southampton on temporary basis and featured in six fixtures before finalizing a loan move to Millwall, where he took part in one match. However, the management of ‘The Lions’ liked Dany’s display and secured the footballer’s services on permanent basis after the end of his spell. In January 2012, N’Guessan was loaned out to Charlton Athletic, where he chipped in four goals in seven games during three months. After returning to his parent Millwall, the midfielder took his tally to two goals in 29 fixtures.
In 2013 the french winger completed a move to Swindon Town.
