Darko Savić is a Serbian defender, born on 19 January 1979. Darko launched his professional career with Sartid Smederevo in 1997. A few seasons later, Savić switched to OFK Beograd where he performed till 2002.
Then Darko moved to Bulgaria and signed for Spartak Varna on a two year contract. However, the footballer failed to clinch a place in the starting 11 and usually came on as a sub. Savić made 37 appearances for the club.
From 2004 to 2011, Darko played for Lokomotiv Sofia. There he established himself as a tenacious and uncompromising back, making 176 outings for the team. In 2012, Savić sealed a contract with Botev Vratsa but only played there for one year.
