David Edwards is a midfielder of Wolverhampton Wanderers. He was born on 3 February 1986 in Shrewsbury, England.
David started to play football in local Shrewsbury Town and penned a senior contract with the club in 2003. The player made only one appearance for the team during his début season, but that was only a beginning, because the head coach decided to give Edwards more playing time in the following season. The midfielder showed confident performance and became the pivot of the squad, which helped him to take his tally to 120 fixtures and 12 goals for Shrewsbury Town till 2007.
In 2007, David transferred to Luton Town and took part in 19 matches for the club before sealing a deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers, which lodged a tempting bid for the footballer and offered him a lucrative contract. Edwards featured in 128 games and found the net ten times for ‘The Wolves’ as of December 2012.
